ABM performs a series of tests on the battery to check for any imperfections or
irregularities. This includes:
01 Reverse testing
02 Short circuit testing- If there’s an issue, the system itself will kick the battery out
03 Total Quality Management (TQM)
04 Sheer testing- The quality of the weld is tested and a tag is placed if the test is passed
05 Heat sealing - The lid and container are heated then fixed together
06 Leak testing - The battery is tested for leakages
07 Serializing - The battery is given a serial number for traceability

• Lead is re-smelted and used to produce new batteries
